I have 16 years experience of teaching post 16 education. My main subjects are A level Physics and BTEC (OND/HND) Engineering units (specialising in Maths, Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Principles). I have worked as a lecturer and programme manager at four colleges in the North West of England . In addition to full time teaching I have worked as an A level physics examiner, a BTEC moderator and a subject advisor for two UK exam boards. During this time I also wrote specifications for two national syllabus subjects.
Subjects taught:
- Physics (up to A level)
- Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Principles (up to HNC level)
- Information Technology and Computer Science(up to A level)
- Engineering Maths (up to HNC level)
M. Morris B.Sc, Dip Phys,
I.Eng, MIIE(elec)
In addition to teaching I have over 20 years experience working in engineering. I have worked on a large range of electro-mechanical systems including specialist computer systems. A large part of my career has been spent working in medical electronics/physics.
As well as my vocational experience in teaching and engineering, I have always had a personal interest in physics, astronomy, electronics, and computing. The Science Campus combines these interests. If you would like to contribute to the site or give any feedback feel free to contact me.
